Upper airway catarrh

The word cata comes from the English "catarrh" meaning "mucositis". Generally used clinically in mucosal inflammation of the upper respiratory tract. Kata means that exudate flows down the mucosal surface. Upper respiratory tract catarrh symptoms include upper respiratory tract symptoms such as cough, runny nose, sneezing, and nasal congestion, which are common clinical symptoms. Diseases that cause fever with catarrhal symptoms of the upper respiratory tract are common cold, influenza, nasopharynx, pharyngeal conjunctival fever, precursor measles, and pertussis catarrh. In addition, certain fever diseases, such as acute bronchitis, pneumonia, acute viral hepatitis, polio, epidemic meningitis, lymphocytic choroid meningitis, epidemic hemorrhagic fever, leptospirosis, etc. In the prodromal or early stages, some upper respiratory catarrhal symptoms may sometimes appear. Kata symptoms can also occur with drug allergies.
