Wound infection
Wound infections are pathogenic microorganisms that invade the body through the wound, grow and reproduce in the body, cause damage to the body's normal function, metabolism, and tissue structure, and cause pathological reactions to tissue-damaging lesions. After the body is attacked by the pathogen, it can mobilize various defense functions to eliminate the pathogen and its toxic products to restore the relative stability of the body. Whether a pathogen can cause infection after it invades the body depends mainly on the virulence of the pathogen and the body's resistance.
