Exercise-induced asthma

Exercise-induced asthma (EIA) is an acute airway stenosis and increased airway resistance that occurs in people with increased airway responsiveness after strenuous exercise. Exercise-induced asthma is not uncommon in the clinic. According to statistics, 50% to 90% of asthma patients who have been diagnosed can develop asthma; 40% of patients with allergic rhinitis who have not been diagnosed can develop asthma.
