Lupus cell test

Lupus factor in the blood of patients with lupus erythematosus is an anti-nuclear protein immunoglobulin G (IgG) antibody, which acts on the cell membrane to damage it and swell the nucleus, forming a uniform and unstructured round smoke (Homogeneous body), this homogeneous body is swallowed by mature polymorphonuclear leukocytes to form lupus erythematosus cells. Detecting the presence of uniform polymorphonuclear leukocyte phagocytosis in the blood can diagnose lupus erythematosus.
