Pulmonary and pleural percussion

Pulmonary and pleural percussion is based on the physical characteristics of the thorax and lung tissue, and the different sounds produced when tapping are used to determine whether there are lesions in the lungs and their properties. The methods of percussion include direct and indirect percussion. Indirect percussion is a commonly used method.
