Mixed lymphocyte culture test

Mixed lymphocyte culture test (MLC) is a test method to determine the compatibility of the recipient and the donor's major histocompatibility antigen (HLA antigen), and is often used for tissue matching before organ transplantation. Mixed lymphocyte culture A two-way mixed culture of lymphocytes from donors and recipients, or a mixed culture of inactivated lymphocytes from donors, tests in which the degree of cell response is negatively correlated with the degree of donor-recipient compatibility.
