Pediatric fat malabsorption
Fat malabsorption, also known as steatorrhea, is a syndrome due to fat digestion and malabsorption, which can be seen in a variety of diseases, such as pancreatic, liver, gall, and intestinal diseases. The fatty diarrhea caused by intestinal disease is often accompanied by malabsorption of other nutrients, which is called malabsorption syndrome.
