Lack of wisdom teeth
Missing teeth are incisors that have not grown due to cleft palate. It is a pathological phenomenon. There is also a familial missing tooth, mostly the third molar (wisdom teeth), followed by the second incisors before the upper incisors and the mandibular molars. In late adolescence, the jawbone develops to the size of an adult. But in some people, the jawbone is not big enough and there is not enough space for wisdom teeth to emerge. Wisdom teeth will be impacted in the jawbone and grow in other directions. There may be only part of the crown protruding from the gums or completely buried in the jawbone. The root of the tooth may be deformed or grow in the area of the maxillary sinus or mandible nerve, which is very dangerous. If the wisdom tooth does not grow out and grows horizontally, it is called a horizontal impacted wisdom tooth. Generally it will squeeze into the outer teeth, making the outer teeth extremely crowded and prone to toothache.
