Gamma-interferon
Type II interferon, also known as & gamma; -IFN or immune interferon, is produced by mitogen-stimulated T lymphocytes. Interferon is a highly effective antiviral biologically active substance and a lymphokine with a wide range of immunomodulatory effects. There are many methods for detecting interferon. At present, the commonly used enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay method, referred to as ELISA method.
