Maxillofacial neurofibroma
Neurofibromas are benign tumors composed of two main components of nerve sheath cells and fibroblasts. They are divided into single and multiple types. Multiple neurofibromas are also called neurofibromatosis. This tumor can occur in peripheral nerves. In any part, patients with oral and maxillofacial disease often occur in the trigeminal nerve and facial nerve, usually located in the face, temporal, eye, neck, tongue and palate.
