Thyroid iodine test

The thyroid iodine test is the selective absorption of iodine by the thyroid gland. Under normal circumstances, the iodine in the thyroid gland is tens of times the plasma concentration, which is the "iodine uptake" of the thyroid gland. The test method is: after oral administration or injection of a small amount of radionuclide-containing iodine salt, directly measure the radioactive intensity in the thyroid gland.
