Treponema pallidum antigen serum test

Treponema pallidum antigen serum test uses live or dead Treponema pallidum or its components as antigens to measure anti-borrelia antibodies. This test has high sensitivity and specificity and is generally used as a confirmation test. This test is to detect anti- Treponema pallidum IgG antibody in the serum. Even if the patient has been treated enough, it can persist for a long time, or even disappear for life. The serum response continues to be positive, so it cannot be used to observe the effect.
