Urobilinogen

Urine bile pigments include bilirubin, urobilinogen, and urobilin, commonly known as urinary tribiliary. Because most of the submitted urine is fresh urine, urobilinogen has not been oxidized into urobilin, and the first two are commonly referred to as urinary bile. Urobilinogen is converted into yellow urobilin (fecal choline) after air oxidation and light irradiation.
