Serum apolipoprotein a

Apolipoprotein A1 (apoli popro tein A1, ApoA1) is the main structural protein of high-density lipoprotein (HDL). Its content can basically reflect the number of HDL particles. The decrease in serum / plasma samples ApoA1 indicates an increased risk of cardiovascular (coronary heart disease) and cerebrovascular (cerebrovascular) diseases, and is often used as one of the sensitive indicators for the risk assessment of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases.
