Uric acid
Uric acid is the end product of purine metabolism. Disorders of purine metabolism, abnormal energy metabolism, and renal excretion disorder of uric acid can cause plasma uric acid concentration to increase (hyperuricemia) or decrease (hyperuricemia). At present, uric acid measurement is considered to be the best biochemical marker for the diagnosis of gout caused by purine metabolic disorders. The main feature of gout is hyperuricemia, which results in kidney diseases such as acute gouty arthritis, gout stone deposition, chronic gouty arthritis and joint deformities, and uric acid kidney stones, which are very harmful to health. Uric acid determination also helps early diagnosis of kidney disease.
