Giant spiny echinococcosis

Macrocanthorhynchiasis (Macracanthorhynchiasis) is a disease caused by Macrocanthorhus hirudinaceus parasitizing in the small intestine, and is a zoonotic parasitic disease. Since the 1970s, more than 300 cases have been reported in China's Liaoning, Shandong, Hebei, Henan, Jilin, Anhui, Guangdong, Sichuan and Inner Mongolia.
