Guillain-Barreacute (GBS) syndrome in children is a multiple nerve root and peripheral neuropathy related to infection and / or autoimmune factors, which are progressive, symmetrical and flaccid. Paralysis of the limbs is characteristic. Peripheral sensory disorders of varying degrees, severe cases of medulla oblongata and respiratory muscle paralysis. Also known as acute inflammatory polyradiculoneuritis (acute inflammatory polyradiculoneuritis), also known as acute inflammatory demyelinating polyradiculoneuritis (acute inflamatory demyelinating polyradiculoneuritis). At present, GBS is considered to be an acute autoimmune disease mediated by humoral and cellular immunity. It can occur at any age. In the early stages, most children gradually recover after a short period of inactivity, and the prognosis is good.
