Hereditary factor Ⅶ deficiency

A hereditary factor Ⅶ (FⅦ) deficiency is an autosomal recessive disease caused by mutations in the FⅦ gene. Most patients are deficient in type I, which means that FⅦ activity and antigen levels are reduced. However, a small number of patients show Type II deficiency with normal or lower limit of antigen level and significantly reduced activity.
