Uterine fibroids
Uterine fibroids are a common benign tumor that occurs in female reproductive organs. They are also called uterine leiomyomas. They are mostly asymptomatic, with a few manifestations of vaginal bleeding, abdominal masses and compression symptoms. Most uterine fibroids occur during periods of strong ovarian function, that is, women aged 30 to 50 years.
