Pediatric torsional ventricular tachycardia

Pediatric torsional ventricular tachycardia (torsades de pointes (TDP)) is a special type of polymorphic ventricular arrhythmia. Patients with torsional ventricular tachycardia have repeated syncopes. Convulsions are the main clinical manifestations. In 1988, Jackman classified TDP into three types based on electrophysiological and clinical characteristics: type I intermittent dependence (that is, acquired long QT interval syndrome), type catecholamine dependence (congenital prolonged QT interval syndrome), Type Ⅲ (TDP caused by short interventricular interventricular early) is the most common type Ⅰ clinically.
