Pelvic floor peritoneal hernia
The pelvic peritoneum and abdominal organs or tissues that protrude into the rectal genital depression (between the rectum and the vagina, or between the rectum and the prostate) are called peritoneocele hernia, or Douglas depression hernia, or pelvic Base peritoneum swells. Hernia contents are mostly the small intestine, sigmoid colon, and sometimes the uterus or even the omentum, which can compress the rectum and cause emptying disorders, which has become one of the important causes of chronic obstructive constipation at the functional outlet. This disease is more common in women than men, and is often accompanied by decreased perineum, rectal mucosal intussusception, and prerectal bulge.
