Juvenile chronic arthritis and its associated uveitis
Juvenile chronic arthritis (JCA) is a common idiopathic arthritis that occurs under the age of 16 and usually affects the knee, ankle, and wrist joints. It was originally called Still's disease. It is commonly referred to in the American literature as juvenile rheumatoid arthritis (JRA), but about 90% of patients with this arthritis are negative for rheumatoid factor, so it is called "rheumatoid joint "Yan" is obviously inappropriate. The European Union Against Rheumatism calls it "Juvenile Chronic Arthritis", a name that basically reflects the characteristics of the disease. Uveitis caused or accompanied by this disease is a common and important blinding eye disease in children.
