Mycobacterium szulgai is a human pathogenic bacteria confirmed by Marks in 1972, which belongs to the mycobacterium chromobacterium. Culture at 25 ° C produces light gas, culture at 37 ° C produces dark color, and does not grow at 42 ° C. The colonies are orange and grow slowly. The pathogenesis is not yet clear. Clinical manifestations are diverse. Skin damage is disseminated painless inflammatory nodules. The diagnosis of skin lesions is positive for Mycobacterium culture. The combination of ethionamide, isoniazid and rifampicin is effective.
