Hepatitis E virus in children
Hepatitis E (HE) is an infectious disease caused by the hepatitis E virus (HEV), which is transmitted from the feces to the mouth and is mainly caused by liver damage. Can often cause epidemics and outbreaks, and its clinical and epidemiological characteristics are similar to hepatitis A.
