White fever

Whitefly fever (sandfly fever) is an acute viral disease caused by the whitefly fever virus and transmitted by the whitefly. Grasslands in the subtropical and Mediterranean regions are frequent areas of white fever. Clinically, it is characterized by fever, headache, myalgia, conjunctival congestion, and leukopenia.
