Basal cell carcinoma
Basal cell carcinoma, also known as silkworm ulcer, is the most common type of skin cancer, with a high incidence, accounting for the first place in the eyelid malignant tumor (about 50% or more). Men are slightly more than women, older people are more common than young people, and the peak age is between 50 and 60 years old. Generally only infiltrative growth occurs locally, and rarely occurs metastasis, but improper treatment, or without treatment, may also seriously damage the eye tissue, and even invade the paranasal sinuses and the skull and cause death.
