Skin diseases caused by inorganic salts
Skin diseases caused by inorganic acids account for about 3% of occupational skin diseases. Sulfuric acid, nitric acid, hydrochloric acid, and hydrofluoric acid are the representative types of inorganic acids. The acid mist can cause itching or burning sensation at the contact site, but no obvious rash appears. Itching is more common in exposed areas, such as the face, neck, and back of hands. It disappears after bathing after work.
