Hyperparathyroidism Hyperparathyroidism causes abnormal parathyroid hormone (PTH) secretion of calcium and phosphorus metabolism. Referred to as hyperparathyroidism. Mainly manifested as bone changes, urinary stones, hypercalcemia and hypophosphatemia. Can be divided into four types of primary, secondary, tertiary and pseudo.
