Femoral tuberosity tuberculosis
Macrotrochanter of femur is located on the surface of the body and is prone to chronic trauma. There are many cancellous bones, so tuberculosis of femur is more common, accounting for 1.59% of systemic bone and joint tuberculosis. It is extremely rare under the age of 10.
