Chlorohydrate poisoning
Chlororal hydrate is commonly used as a hypnotic, anticonvulsant, orally or as an enema. A single dose is too large or too many drugs are repeatedly used for a short period of time, and acute poisoning can occur. This product can cause fetal and infant poisoning through the placenta and secretion into milk. After the poisoning amount is absorbed, it can inhibit the functions of the central nervous system, vascular motility center and heart, and damage the liver and kidney.
