Smith fracture
Smith fractures are the same as Coles fractures, but the deformity is the opposite of Coles fractures, with the distal end shifted to the palm. It can also be combined with inferior ulnar radial dislocation, so it is also called anti-Colles fracture. EmettBreck (1958) counted 471 cases of wrist fractures, Coles fractures accounted for 448 cases, Smith fractures accounted for 23 cases, 19.5: 1.
