Sinus barotrauma

Sinus barometric trauma is caused by sinus mucosal damage and inflammation caused by the negative pressure in the sinuses and the outside air pressure not being able to balance in time when the external atmospheric pressure changes rapidly. Occurs in the frontal and maxillary sinuses. Pilots and divers are susceptible to the disease.
