Umbilical bulge-giant tongue-giant soma syndrome
Umbilical bulge-glossy-gigantism syndrome (Exomphalosmacro-Glossia-Gigantism Syndrome) is also known as neonatal hypoglycemia-macrotongue-visceral hypertrophy-umbilical bulge syndrome, neonatal hypoglycemia with visceral hypertrophy-megatongue-cerebellar syndrome. The eigen was first described by Beckwith in 1963, hence the name Beckwith syndrome. In 1964, Weidemann reported that the disease occurred in all three siblings. Therefore, it is also called Beckwith-Weidemann syndrome.
