Percussion of abdominal organs
Percussion of the abdominal organs is an auxiliary examination method used to check whether the abdomen is normal. Abdominal organ percussion can be used directly and indirectly percussion, but indirect percussion is generally used. Its main role is to understand the size, location and pain of certain organs, the extent of enlargement of the stomach and bladder, the gastrointestinal tract inflation, the presence of gas, effusion and mass in the abdominal cavity.
