Mental disorders associated with anemia
Anemia can be divided into many types according to different etiology and morphology, and their pathological mechanisms are also different. In general, there are three major categories: poor hematopoietic (iron deficiency anemia, aplastic anemia, etc.), excessive destruction of red blood cells (various hemolytic anemia), and acute and chronic hemorrhagic anemia. Various types of anemia can cause some common clinical symptoms due to reduced blood oxygen carrying capacity, insufficient blood supply to brain cells, and ischemia and hypoxia in brain cells. Performance also varies. However, the mental disorders associated with various types of anemia are all kinds of mental disorders caused by affecting brain function.
