Salivary fistula

Salivary gland leakage caused by trauma or surgical injury to salivary glands or salivary gland ducts is called salivary fistula. Clinical manifestations include small fistula on the facial skin and clear saliva flowing out. The main cause of this disease is injury, which mostly occurs in the parotid gland and its catheter. Surgical treatment methods have a high cure rate. Debridement and suture after salivary gland injury is the key to prevent this disease.
