Atrial escape and atrial escape rhythm

When the inhibited factors of the sinoatrial node disappear, sinus rhythm may occur again and the atrial escape will disappear. So atrial escape is a physiological compensation mechanism. Three or more consecutive atrial escape beats constitute an atrial escape rhythm.
