Liver metastasis

The liver is an organ that is prone to metastasis of various malignant tumors, and is one of the most common sites for metastatic cancer. Liver metastasis means that a primary tumor that is not in the liver can metastasize to the liver via hematological or lymphatic pathways. The common liver metastases come from the digestive tract, lung, pancreas, kidney and breast.
