Constant exotropia

With the progress of intermittent exotropia, exotropy mutations are constant, that is, they are often in exotropia. It can be alternating, that is, alternating exotropia, or a tendency to look at one glance. If the exotropy begins when the vision has not yet matured, it can be monocular fixation and amblyopia. In most patients, exotropia is caused by the loss of compensation for intermittent exotropia. These patients generally do not have amblyopia.
