Fracture of posterior tibia
The tibial posterior lip is also called the hind ankle. Hind ankle fractures can occur in any type of ankle injury and rarely occur alone. Larger bone fragments on the posterior lip of the tibia can damage the joint load-bearing surface and affect the stability of the ankle joint.
