Acute superior mesenteric venous thrombosis

Acute superior mesenteric venous thrombosis is insidious, there are no specific symptoms and signs in the early stage, and routine examination is not easy to make a clear diagnosis. Most patients make diagnosis after peritonitis or even after laparotomy, and often lose the best opportunity for treatment. At the same time as surgical thrombectomy and necrotic bowel removal, active anticoagulation therapy is an effective measure to improve the survival rate of patients and reduce the recurrence of thrombosis.
