Thyroid nodule calcification

The thyroid gland is located on both sides of the upper end of the trachea at the front of the neck, under the thyroid cartilage. In general, 25% of thyroid nodule savings have calcified shadows, while 50% to 62.5% of thyroid cancers have calcified shadows. It is generally believed that the coarser the calcified particles, the better the cancer tissue differentiation. Thyroid nodule calcification is one of the thyroid diseases, which refers to the calcium deposits in the nodule caused by various reasons.
