Phosgene poisoning

Phosgene is also known as phosgene (COCL2). It is colorless, has the smell of moldy firewood, is rarely soluble in water, and forms hydrochloric acid after hydrolysis. More than 3 times heavier than air. It is non-irritating to the mucous membrane, so that the human body inhaling high concentration of phosgene can feel no sense. The main industrial use of phosgene is to produce aniline dyes. Other industries with more contact opportunities are firefighters and welding workers.
