Gastric neurofibroma

Gastric neurofibromas are neurogenic tumors, which are rarely seen clinically, accounting for 10% of gastric benign tumors, and have a high rate of malignant transformation. Patients are more common in middle-aged people, and there is no significant difference in gender between men and women. Gastric neurofibromas are mostly solitary and can also be part of systemic multiple neurofibromatosis. Malignant changes occur in about 10% of gastric neurofibromas. It is more common on the distal side of the stomach.
