Benign lipoblastoma
Benign lipoblastoma (benign lipoblastoma) is a rare solitary tumor that mostly occurs in infants. 80% of it occurs before the age of 3, so it is also called embryonal lipoma. It is a lobulated localized (lipoblastoma) or diffuse (lipoblastoma disease) mass similar to fetal adipose tissue. Tumors are most common before the age of three. Occasionally occurs in newborns or older children with a male tendency. The limbs are the most commonly affected parts, and they have also been reported in the mediastinum, retroperitoneum, torso, head and neck, and various organs (lung, heart, parotid gland).
