Urine co2
Urinary co2 measurement is an auxiliary test method used to check whether the renal tubular acidification function is normal. Commonly used sodium bicarbonate load test, neutral phosphate load test, sodium sulfate test, furosemide test, 24-hour urine citrate determination and HCO3-reabsorption excretion test. Normal human urine PCO2 should be> 9.3kPa, or 2.67kPa higher than blood PCO2. If the difference between urine and blood PCO2 is 15%, proximal renal tubular acidosis can be determined.
