Renal amyloidosis

Amyloidosis is a systemic disease in which amyloid fibers caused by different causes are deposited outside the cell in an insoluble form, resulting in damage to the structure and function of multiple organ tissues. Renal disease caused by the deposition of amyloid in the kidney is called renal amyloidosis. Nephrotic syndrome is the main clinical manifestation, which can lead to renal failure and death in advanced stages.
