Resting lymphocytic thyroiditis

Subacute lesions occur mostly in postpartum women. The disease occurs most often in postpartum thyroid dysfunction. The incidence of postpartum women is about 5% to 10%. Although the cause of resting thyroiditis is unclear, recent evidence suggests that it is an autoimmune disease.
