Nonspecific interstitial pneumonia
Nonspecific interstitial pneumonia (NSIP) is a type of idiopathic pulmonary interstitial disease (IIP). In the past, it has been summarized in idiopathic pulmonary interstitial fibrosis. Due to its clinical, pathological, imaging, and pulmonary function changes, especially the response and prognosis of glucocorticoids are significantly different from IPF, it has been removed in recent years It is isolated from IPF as an independent idiopathic pulmonary interstitial disease. Because of its relative lack of specificity in clinical symptoms and pathological features, IPF is mostly diagnosed clinically, but it is actually two different diseases.
