Bladder neck obstruction in elderly women
Obstruction of bladder neck in women, also known as "prostatic disease" or bladder neck contracture in women, is more common in older women. The higher the age, the higher the incidence. If it is not diagnosed and treated in time, the upper urinary tract may cause dilatation, hydronephrosis, and severe consequences of renal function damage.
